Greenwich runs south from West 14th Street to West Houston Street. The eastern boundary is Fourth Avenue and the western boundary is Seventh Avenue South.
The Village has long been known for its bohemian atmosphere and still evokes images of beatniks and coffee houses, despite the gentrification that has made it one of the more expensive place to live in Manhattan.
