City Bank Farmers Trust Building
When the plans for this building were drawn up in 1929, it was to be the tallest building in the world, but with the onset of the Great Depression, the plans had to be scaled back. It stands today, just blocks from the New York Stock Exchange, at 741 feet with 57 stories.
