The Queensboro Bridge
Often referred to as the 59th Street Bridge, this 7,449 feet long bridge opened to traffic in 1909. Its pedestrian walkway provids beautiful views of the East River, Roosevelt Island, and midtown. It was immortalized in Simon and Garfunkel's "The 59th Street Bridge Song/Feeliní Groovy." song.
