Open since 1972 and appearing on almost every top ten hot dog joints list, Grays provides a rare bargain in Manhattan with what is known as its recession special; two dogs and a drink for just a couple of bucks. Just remember when visiting to know what you're ordering before you get to the front of the line, as the staff won't thank you for holding up the crowd.
