Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir
The 106-acre Reservoir holds over a billion gallons of water and was completed in 1862 while the Park was still under construction. Although it no longer distributes fresh water to Manhattan residents, it still provides fresh water to the Pool, the Loch, and the Harlem Meer. Surrounding it is a 1 1/2 mile jogging track that features spectacular views of the city skyline.
