The Plaza Hotel

One of the world's most famous hotels, The Plaza opened its doors in 1907. F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda once splashed in its fountain during the height of the roaring twenties and more recently Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones held their wedding reception there. Now, in 2005, the Plaza is being renovated as many of its hotel rooms are being transformed into Condos.

  The grandeur and the opulence of The Plaza Hotel was a bit wasted on Crocodile "Mick" Dundee, but with with his charm, good nature and very large knife, he was able to fit in anywhere, even here at one of the world's most luxurious hotels.
