Hook and Ladder Company 8

Organized in 1865, Ladder Company 8 moved into their current Firehouse when it was constructed in 1912. Located near the World Trade Center, the company was one of the first to respond on 9/11. The street in front of the firehouse has been co-named Lieutenant Vincent G. Halloran Street in honor of one of their own who died heroically on that tragic day.

  Everybody knows who you're going to call, but did you know this is where you'd be calling? Although the interior scenes were shot in an abandoned firehouse in the Bronx, the exterior and street shots for the Ghostbusters' headquarters was the Firehouse of Hook and Ladder Company 8.
