Belasco Theater
The Belasco was built by David Belasco and was completed in 1907. Apart for a brief span in the early 1950s, when it was used as a radio studio by NBC, the Belasco has remained a legitimate Broadway house ever since.

Young playwright David Shayne (Cusack) just wants to show the world his art. When he finally gets the chance to produce his first play, God of Our Fathers, here at the Belasco Theater, he quickly learns that he must compromise his art for success, especially when the funding for his play is coming from a mobster who insists that his bimbo girlfriend have a part in the play.
